Artist's Statement
My sculptures are the vehicle through which I convey my views on societal issues. Decision-making, consequences, morals, and everyday injustice have always been at the heart of my work. In my early work, I created life-size anthropomorphic animals acting out fables as applied in modern situations where morals were in question. My current work, though much smaller in scale and more mechanical in design, conveys a similar message while focusing on the concept of gaslighting.  The idea that one human or group can cause another human to question their own reality and sanity, even after witnessing the very events in question, is perhaps the cruelest form of manipulation.
