Artist's Statement
This body of work is an exploration of the intersection of family memories, the functionality of form and the idea of home. Colors are a reference to past and present functional ceramic pieces and contemporary artists as it relates to the form, function and meaning of each piece. As a creative ideation process, I work with 3D printing, and CAD models as a means to play with the form, scale and color of each piece.
